Timeline:

2016

CIPL was established on 6th May 2016 with 40 employees in Hyderabad.

2017

Employee strength crossed 100 in less than a year.

2018-19

Bagged a major contract for future growth and also employee count crossed 200.

2020

Recognized by the Startup India, a Government of India initiative intended to catalyse startup.

2021-22

Opened our second and third office in Indian state of West Bengal and Maharashtra. Revenue doubled within one year.

2023

Our employee number has touched 600! Revenue has increased to 300% in 3 years.

 

Technologies:

  • In 2017, CIPL implemented virtualization in house on own server using VMware to be able to effectively utilize our IT resources for authentication/security and other IT infrastructure. The virtualization software and hardware stack were updated in 2021 with custom hardware using XenServer as the virtualization stack.
  • In 2019, CIPL stated using AWS to expand its operational needs. AWS was key in making our operation successful in March 2020 when lockdown was implemented in India.
  • In 2020, CIPL moved from a vendor build firewall to a self-build firewall based on pfsense. With pfsense, we have capability of getting more than 3000 employees working remotely
  • In 2021, CIPL implemented a customized vicidial to have complete control on our dialer and quick scale up with minimum turnaround time.
  • In 2023, CIPL moved some of its cloud-based technology from AWS to Azure/Microsoft 365 like E-mail, Extended identity management, etc.
